Istiklal Library Co. was founded in June 1940, it is Jordan's oldest and largest stationery and office supplies company.
The founder, Hasan R. Khalaf, began as a book publisher back then, in the mid-fifties, he started manufacturing exercise and copy books for the public and private schools in Jordan. He then incorporated stationery and office supplies.
Today, the family owned company employs over thirty people and operates three large showrooms located in Sweifieh, Al Bayader and Shmeisani, along with an online store, covering all of Jordan.
